Silica-sol investment casting forms curved vanes, the hub, and complex flow passages close to their finished shape. This reduces the amount of material that must be removed compared with machining the complete geometry from solid stock.
Precision machining then finishes the bore, keyway, mounting faces, and sealing faces that control how the impeller fits the assembly. YTD also coordinates heat treatment, surface finishing, inspection, and packing, giving you one point of contact through delivery.

Dimensional Inspection and Material Testing
The shaft bore, mounting faces, and other critical dimensions affect how the impeller fits your assembly. The alloy and any heat treatment affect whether the finished part meets your material specification. We inspect the agreed features and provide the records required for your review.
Available testing includes material composition, tensile strength, hardness, CMM measurement, fluorescent penetrant testing, X-ray inspection, and salt-spray testing. The inspection plan focuses on the dimensions, material properties, and surface requirements you need to verify.
If balance is critical to the application, include the operating speed, balance requirement, and required report with your enquiry so they can be considered in the manufacturing proposal.

Can you manufacture an impeller from my drawing or 3D model?
Yes. We work from 2D drawings and 3D models. Send both if you have them, along with the material and quantity. We will review the part and quote the casting, machining, and finishing you need.
Can I start with a physical sample or photos if I do not have a complete drawing?
Yes. Photos and a few details about the part are enough to start a conversation. A physical sample can help us establish its shape and dimensions. We will agree the drawing and material with you before making the part.
What impeller types can be produced?
We make open, semi-open, and closed impellers, as well as radial, mixed-flow, and axial designs. Blade shape, size, hub, and shaft connection are customized for your equipment. Send your drawing if your part looks different from the examples shown.
What materials are available for cast impellers?
We cast stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, aluminum, and high-temperature alloys. If you already have a grade in mind, include it with your enquiry. If you need help choosing, tell us about the liquid or gas, temperature, and any corrosion or wear concerns.
Do I need to decide the complete casting and machining process before asking for a quote?
No. Send us the part you need and the requirements you already know. We will recommend how to make it and explain the casting, machining, and finishing included in the quote.
Can you supply a machined impeller ready for assembly?
Yes. We can supply the casting with the shaft bore, keyway, mounting faces, and sealing faces machined. Add any heat treatment, surface finish, and inspection needs to your enquiry, and we will include them in the quote.
How are critical dimensions and material requirements verified?
We check the finished part against your drawing and test the material against the agreed specification. CMM measurement, material tests, and other inspections are selected for the features you need to verify. You can also specify the reports you want with your order.
What happens after I submit the RFQ?
We review your files, clarify any missing details, and send a quote with the manufacturing steps and expected timing. Once you approve the quote, we move to tooling and samples. You review the sample and inspection results before we start batch production.
