Investment Casting and CNC Machining for Impellers

Silica-sol investment casting forms curved vanes, the hub, and complex flow passages close to their finished shape. This reduces the amount of material that must be removed compared with machining the complete geometry from solid stock.

Precision machining then finishes the bore, keyway, mounting faces, and sealing faces that control how the impeller fits the assembly. YTD also coordinates heat treatment, surface finishing, inspection, and packing, giving you one point of contact through delivery.

Dimensional Inspection and Material Testing

The shaft bore, mounting faces, and other critical dimensions affect how the impeller fits your assembly. The alloy and any heat treatment affect whether the finished part meets your material specification. We inspect the agreed features and provide the records required for your review.

Available testing includes material composition, tensile strength, hardness, CMM measurement, fluorescent penetrant testing, X-ray inspection, and salt-spray testing. The inspection plan focuses on the dimensions, material properties, and surface requirements you need to verify.

If balance is critical to the application, include the operating speed, balance requirement, and required report with your enquiry so they can be considered in the manufacturing proposal.
