Post Processing for Casting Projects

At YTD, we don’t just provide cast blanks, combining our in-house capabilities and supply network, we provide end-to-end casting components manufacturing solutions to simplify your supply chain and speed up your project.

For standard post-processing like bead blasting, polishing, welding, and CNC finishing, we apply it directly in-house, ensuring fast prototyping and consistent quality of mass production. For surface finishing requirements like anodizing, plating, powder coating, and tight-tolerance CNC machining, we achieve it through qualified partners with strict quality control by our engineers.

FAQs

Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, has two main sub-processes, each is named after the binder used in the ceramic sullery: silica sol casting and water glass casting. It’s a precision casting process where a wax pattern is coated in ceramic, melted out, and replaced with molten metal. Capable of producing complex, near-net-shape parts in a wide range of alloys.

We support a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, including stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum alloys, and nickel-based superalloys.

Casting tolerances depend on the process, material, and part geometry. Investment castings typically achieve ±0.1–0.5 mm, die castings ±0.05–0.3 mm, and sand castings ±1–3 mm. Tighter tolerances can be achieved through CNC machining.

Yes. We provide complete casting solutions including CNC machining, heat treatment, surface finishing, welding, and assembly to deliver ready-to-use components.

We support both prototype and production orders. MOQ depends on the casting process, tooling requirements, material, and production volume. Contact us with your project details for a suitable recommendation.

We control quality throughout the production process with material verification, dimensional inspection, process monitoring, and final inspection before shipment to ensure castings meet customer specifications.
