If the grade is already on your drawing, we quote to it. If the material is still open, tell us how the engine will be used. We review the alloy together with the casting route and inspection requirements before quoting.

How We Make Exhaust Manifolds

We start with the manifold you need, then choose a manufacturing route that suits the part.

YTD has made exhaust manifolds by investment casting, a strong route for integrated passages and heat-resistant alloys. Sand casting can serve projects whose size, material, or production volume points to a different solution. You do not need to choose between them before contacting us.

Once the route is set, tooling and casting are planned around the finished part. Machining and inspection then follow the delivery condition on your order.

Fit, Material and Inspection

Before sampling, we agree what will be checked and how the manifold will be accepted. The same standard then carries into production.

Material Identity

For iron- and nickel-based alloys, YTD’s in-house spectrometer checks the chemistry against the specified grade. Your quotation states which material records will be supplied.

Flange Fit

When you order a machined manifold, the cylinder-head and outlet interfaces are finished to the drawing and checked against its dimensional requirements.

Casting Integrity

Internal soundness is checked to the level your application requires. When non-destructive or leak testing is specified, its method and acceptance criteria are defined before production.

Inspection Records

The drawing, approved sample, and inspection records set the production standard. They give your team a clear basis for accepting the first order and future batches.
